Embedded Applications Technology - EAT

EAT is a student organization that helps prepare students for employment in the technology industry. The club’s main focus is the design of devices that require a dedicated computer or microprocessor to accomplish a task.

EAT students form study groups to help each other with engineering courses.
The club also has weekly Tuesday meetings where members, of course, "eat" the two basic food groups: pizza and soda, as well as discuss current events.

Another advantage about this club is that EAT alumni come back and speak to current members about their job experiences. Some alumni have worked at top companies in the area including: Boeing, Northrup Grumman, and Rapid7. This club networking gives EAT members an advantage in work opportunities and internships.

In addition to being a club EAT gets profit from selling developmental software to students which includes: Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Server.

They also have students covered if they get the munchies. EAT sells candy, soda, and energy boosts. You just can't have a club called EAT without the junk food.
