Engineering Teaching Option 5th Year Now Offered at CSULB

There is good news for students in the Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology and Engineering Education.

The state has approved students to do their 5th year teaching at CSULB. Previously students had to intern teach at Cal State Los Angeles for a year after they graduated. But now they can teach a class here at CSULB and get certified by the state after completion.

Dr. Sandra Cynar has been working tirelessly to get this approved by the state, and now all that hard work has paid off for students.

After completion of the program students will be certified to teach computer and technology courses at the high school or junior college level.
